Well Ive had my IS for over a year w/o navi, and Im still wondering if metra or schoshe is ever going to make a kit??
does anyone have anymore information?
If not Im just going to do the modification like other threads and deal with having a custom display on the lower part of the deck...

 

if your talking about the OEM nav, with all the required equiptment plus installation, it will cost about 8G's total to get it installed and working properly. At least that's what it will cost to get it done in Taiwan

 

No he's talking about an aftermarket headunit kit which would allow you to install an aftermarket unit with less issues.

Haven't seen one yet although Scoshe kept saying spring and now summer.

I avoided the whole issue and installed the system in my sig.

 

All that kind of aftermarket stuff will be out in plenty once these cars are 5 years old, we have gotten rid of them, and nothing but 17 years in high school drive them.

 

I am going to install the new Alpiine PXE-H650. With that, you can hook-up monitors in your visor for DVD, NAVI, etc. You will still have the look and controls of your stock system and it will sound MUCH better. The Scoshce kit may not look good.

Thsi thing has an Audisey EQ with built in RTA!!!!!!
