Default AC direction is strange !

Hello CL,

Could u guy double check for me if this only happens to my is2? Hopefully,
your lady is not "having an affair". When i turn on my AC, I direct the flow
to my legs, and I still get some air flowing out from dash. Is this strange or
this is the IS's characteristic . This thing happens for both AC and Heat.
Guessing i have to bring to dealer sometimes next week.

And also, for ppl who has X-package, how is the road noise guys? mines seem to be a bit loud. How can I reduce this noise, a new set of thicker tires? btw, my car has 6500 miles on her. Alrite, wont bother u guys more.
Thanks.

Well i've never set the AC to blow on my legs only I usually have it set for dash only or every once in a while, split between the feet and dash. However, when I turn my heat on and have it blowing from underneath, I don't get any air coming from the dash.

if your setting is not set on circular, then some air will flow through any place you have vents

The owner's manual has detailed diagrams as to which vents blow air in each AC setting.

No guys! I read this manual a hundred times already. I try the same air setting on the brand new IS on the dealer 's parking. I dont see this issue on the dealer's car but it did in my car.
