Default Is300 Ac issue

im new to club Lexus and I am glad the forum is still active so I could ask a question.
my ac went out last month so I assumed it was the compressor , I replaced the compressor vacuumed the lines and added freon, it would blow cold for a few moments and than only come out my dash and it’s not blowing cold or hot air it’s just warm , but now my ac only blows through the dash could it be the blend door servo? Does anyone have a part number for it any information would be greatly appreciated. And would the ac servo cause it to blow warm air when it was perfectly cold before?

I had to change my blend door servo because it started making this dumb clicking noise. It sounded like my car was making coffee behind my stereo.

Those are the two parts I bought.... I only needed one of them. I'd research a bit and make sure of which one you need before buying both like I did.

I also wouldn't suggest getting a used one from a junk yard if you can even find a used one.... it's likely going to die the same way.

so which one fixed your issue ? And was it similar to mine? Mine isn’t making any noises that I’m aware of

They make noise likely before they break completely. There isn't much to the blend door mechanism, it's likely the actuator/servo that is the problem. You could always take your dash apart and look at the stuff while trying to actuate it w/ the switch to see what's not working.

I don't remember which one fixed the issue, please research the part numbers and I think you'll figure it out. Sorry I can't be more help than that, it was a while ago when I did mine. I just pulled those parts up from my amazon order history for you. This forum is very slow and I don't see anyone else really replying here.

You're welcome, please post back here when you get yours fixed and let us know exactly which one was making the noise so the next person looking for this info doesn't have to buy both. LOL.
