Yes, thank you for your service! Regardless of what people think about war, we have the freedom to express our negativity or positivity, because of individuals like yourself that preserve those freedoms! Amen and welcome!

thanks -MLevinson and -Old Oiler
I do kind of worry that I might have a-less-horse-power-problem with IS250..
I mean I know that IS250 definitely has less horse power..but definitely has better interior than G35..
I'll wait until the last day of Aug..and then go buy it..
was going to wait until last day of Sept..but my 60 days pre-loan won't last that long..

With about 85+% hwy, I got 21-22 mpg in my '04 6mt coupe. I get about 26+ in the 350 with the same commute.

From an old Grunt - sincere thanks for your service! God bless you and all our troops.

Used to be that we could go through the PX for car purchases, have you tried that route yet? Just before discharge, I went to the PX and managed to swing a great deal on a car (and no I will NOT tell you all what it was or when!).

We do love our IS, although my wife tends to be ticket magnet in it.

Hooo Rah!

I used this car broker and they gave me my IS 250 at invoice price and waived the $150 broker fee since I picked up the car myself. They were able to find the exact car I wanted in under 24 hrs. They also sent someone to my house to buy my used car. It's a pretty amazing service.

I would def get the 350, the power is worth it for just a few thousand more. I think IS350 can be had between 4-5k off msrp depending on where you live, which shouldn't be a problem in CA.

I got mine with NAV,HID,18", XM, and Lip Spoiler for 38,200. MSRP was around 43000.

coming from a G - to an IS , you would definetly not be hapy with a 250!
350's are hard to find in so cal but it looks like you have done youre homework and you shouldent have a problem, good luck!

thanks..
probably gonna open up another thread asking SoCal people
where they got their IS and how satisfied they were from their Stealer..
and do you guys think that
Aug. 30~31 will be the best time to get the 07 IS?
i know Sept 29~30 might be the perfect time, but I really need the car
before Sept 15..

i would say just put your feelers out there to as many dealers you can (through the internet) to find out what their inventory is as well as what discounts they offer. It took me a good 2 months to find my car.
