Default Snow Driving Mode

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone here have been driving snow mode on the traffic? For IS350, i think it's a good mode to use on the traffic because you don't accelerate as much and it actually save me about 20 miles more per tank of gas.

My main question is that do you guys think me using the snow fuction in a non-snow area will damage anything? What do you guys think?

There is nothing special about the snow mode except for different throttle control.

Yes, I use it in rush hour because I have a lead foot and it lets me hit the gas a bit harder without hitting the car in front of me. A side benefit is that I get better mileage in rush hour traffic.

do you guys think it will have problem for useing the snow much more? just wondering...

I personally don't think it will damage anything. I have this car for 1.5 and runs 29k and feels great and still drives like FOB. I might end up keeping the car LOL

Again, it is just a throttle adjusment. It shouldn't damage anything if used in rush hour traffic. I wouldn't cruise down the highway at 80 MPH with it on though.

The use of any mode is safe to use anytime, it will only affect the gas mileage. The snow mode will also affect the shift points (trans) at different RPMs and throttle positions. Again, it is safe to use anytime.
