Anyone know where I can get a 2 or 3 foot black audio cable to use to plug my iPod into the AUX jack? Radio Shack only sells it in 1' or 6' lengths and online it is $14... which I think is way too much for a small cable.

I'd also like it to have a right-angle connector... but I can just use an adapter from Radio Shack if it isn't pre-fitted with one.

 

try best buy or ebay. i got one for my wifes acura and i think i paid 9 dollars for it but its really long because of where the connection is. would be good for out car compared to the little cable the dealer gives.

 

I got the right angle connector from radio shack in store and I just wrapped up the unused portion of the 6' cable.

 

I have a 6' cable wrapped up... but our center compartment is small enough as it is... (and I think it looks tacky). I'd like it to be shorter so it looks better and doesn't take up as much room.

Are you looking for an RCA-to-RCA cable? If so, below is what I have. It's a retractable 4' cable by Zip-Linq. I got it online (forget which website) for around $7 or so:



Just remember that the sound will be pretty crappy, especially with your iPod charger plugged in. For better sound, you can either 1) purchase a ground-loop isolator to plug in between your iPod and the AUX jack, or 2) purchase the retractable dock connector to RCA retractable cable shown below. Only drawback is that you cannot charge your iPod and listen to it at the same time.
