Default problem ejecting navi cd?

i was looking at the version of my navi cd in my 07 is 250 and tried to click eject cd. however, nothing came out and then it was saying something like "insert navigation cd" ... after a couple tries i just wanted my navi to work again and it finally "reinserted" itself and the navi worked again.

has anyone had these problems?

You do know that the navi CD isn't just part of the in-dash changer, right? If you do sorry to be so obvious.

the disc is behind the clock. if you dont pop out the clock it just hits the back of the clock and reinserts itself.

Nah, it should be fine. That clock face is made of such hard, cheap plastic anyway.

If it's working now it should be fine... haven't you ever done this in another CD player or on the computer? It's fine... plus it's something you'd have to pay to get fixed so just wait until it's actually broken.

Is there an easy way to get the cover off the clock?

A couple of people here have had to go to the dealer to get the disc re-inserted; be glad yours went back by itself.

I believe that there is something in the toolkit to insert in the little holes to release the clock plate. A number of people have damaged the plastic, so proceed with extreme caution, or leave it to the dealer.

Maybe the force of the nav disc hitting the back of the clock caused some frame damage... You may need to trade-in your car for a new one just to be safe...

When i first got the car, i did it several times, wondering why it isn't coming out. No problem at all.
Went right back in by itself.
