Default When to stop...

It's been two weeks since I picked her up...
I haven't done any heavy mod but did some changes to her.
Every time I get on the car, I see a room for the improvement.

This is a good thing and a bad thing.

1. I'm very happy with the car. It's fun to play around with it.
2. I'm spending $$ waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than I expected...

I thinking about getting front lip and HKS... and yes, I'm worried... It seems like I'm not going to stop.

I guess I will never stop unless I let her go...

Any thoughts? haha

Well with a 250 you should be trying to make it faster! Not just look good. :P

Just kidding with ya. I'm envious of your gas mileage. And no. It doesn't stop. I just bought my intake and I am seriously.. SERIOUSLY thinking about getting Borla Off Road Exhaust.

I agree... it's endless
But I need to learn how to balance modding the car with everything else I do.
It seems like all I think about is my next mod... haha

i no longer have the desire to mod my car. i had a 96 gs-t eclipse for my last car and i changed just about everything on it. i eventually got tired of driving a modded car everyday and decided to pick up an IS 250 for my daily driver. i am very happy with it. if someone offered to mod my car for free i would not let them because i would rather keep it all factory. styles change rapidly and modding a car is just a money pit if you try to keep up with all the change.

it all depends on the mod. power is never out of style. also like suside doors are never out of style. and also if a car has a hertage of something it is easy to add it to the car and look sweet and not out of style. like a chevy and a cowl hood. or a ford and a shaker hood or was that dodge. not a big ford guy

you're right that power never goes out of style, but suicide doors went out of style before they came in style. they're sooo ricey unless you have a lambo. i was just referring to the typical aesthetic mods that the majority of people on this site do. even though power never gets old i still wouldn't mod the engine on a brand new luxury sedan. it voids the warranty plus if i wanted a fast car i wouldn't have picked a lexus. sure the is 350 is quick, but i would put a turbo k20 motor in my hatch if i wanted to really go fast.

suside is where they open backwards and lambo doors open up. also the body kits dont get old of you stay with the stlying of the car. but if the car looks old so will your mods. power is nice too i traded in a twin turbo stealth for this car. if the stealth was not such a money pit i would still drive it.

You wont stop man... I havent. It just comes to a point where you start weighing out which mod is first and which can wait!

As everyone says it will never end.. Just when you tell yourself your done a few months later your ordering stuff from the internet.. trust me.. I think its something in our nature that we can never leave anything alone especially cars.. I know we all enjoy modding and it makes us feel better.. Its like a natural high thats always there.. Keep Modding.. LOL
