12mm Spacers on 2IS?

Default 12mm Spacers on 2IS?

I have a question will i need anything else if i put on 12.5mm spacers? I have heard that longer wheel studs may be needed but im not too sure. Enlighten me someone please!

Depends on the offset of the wheels you want.

I tried putting spacers on a set of 18" wheels with 15 offset, and they were rubbing.

The car is happy with 34 to 45 offsets (and make sure it clears the caliper).

what does this have to do with rubbing? but im pretty sure 38+ wont rub..

i need to know if i need longer wheel studs....

Yes, you'll need longer studs w/ 12mm spacers. AMR makes some for the IS300 (5 for $20) x 4 = $100) that will work. Hope that helps.

why not just get the Project Kics 10mm hub/wheel centric Spacer with built-in studs? You just bolt the spacer on your existing studs and your wheels on the spacer studs.

thats not a bad idea.. any i dea where i can get a hold of a set?

It would be best to get a set of custom spacers made that are wheel/hub-centric. This way you know your wheels are stable. Do a search on wheel spacers and you will find what you need.

Anything over 10 mm will require longer studs.
