Default 30K service includes brake fluid flush?

Talked to the service manager this weekend about 30K service while having my x-pack spoiler installed. I'm at 20K now and he says aside from normal tire rotation, cabin filter, oil change, engine filter, and some other misc stuff Lexus strongly recommends flushing all the oe brake fluid out and replacing it. They do this as part of the 30K service. This has been a great dealer for me, prob the best service dept I've ever dealt with, but haven't heard of this being the norm for 30K service before. Has anyone else done this? Brake fluid is just like any other fluid that needs changing, this I know. Service manager says because its a higher performance model and is considered a "sport sedan" Lexus says it needs to be done. I dunno....

Thoughts?

it wouldn't hurt.

especially if you drive hard

check the service manual and see if it's there.

i was told every two years or 30k is average for a brake flush, its good preventive maintance and could not hurt. Same with coolant, since i live about 3 miles north of hell i change out all my fluids in all my cars every two years irregardless. im a OCD about preventive maintance.

depends on how you drive and how much Hwy driving you do too. More hwy driving means less brake useage. a brake fluid flush between 30k-50k is usually recommended.

I agree with the previous posters. On the flip side, every time I've had my fluid changed on previous cars, they never bled the brakes correctly and I've had to go back numerous times. Of course they'll fix it but ... just saying.

The manual recommends a brake fluid change at 30k. As for the tire rotation that the SA recommended, the tires can't be rotated since they're staggered. Unless of course they dismount them.
