Default Found something that is really cool

I found out something today that I think is pretty cool, I got a new cell phone a RAZR V3xx, and now when I get a call in the car, it plays the ringtones that I have assigned to the caller. It didn't do that with my old cell phone. I guess it has something to do with the newer Bluetooth. Just thought it was pretty cool.

Nice, kinda would like mine to do that.... Id rather have the damn signal strength and battery life show up in the nav screen like it should! I havent been able to find a phone that both of those (as well as all the other features) work with the nav...

I know for sure that when you link the Sony Ericsson phone to the car, both battery and signal strength show up. I used K800i and now I have a Nokia and I don't have that display anymore. I've also tried with Motorola phones and so far none of them will show those functions.

Nope, I have had Motorola E815, V3c, and V3xx all connected to my car and all show battery meter and signal strength.

I have a treo (700w) and besides the phone being a peice of crap, when it wants to connect, the battery level and signal strength dont show either. In fact I am pretty happy if it recognizes the name.

Hmm... that's interesting. I had a KRZR K1 and it didn't work.

Yup, I also tried both BlackJack and D900 and none of them showed signal and battery status.

I had a v3x and it played the song that I set as a ringtone. Now that I have a blackberry pearl. It does not do that.

I tried the Nokia 8801, Palm Treo 750, and Blackjack and none of them show any details on the screen. FYI: The Treo has to be hands down the worst phone I have ever carried.

I have a Cingular 3125... I dont think any of the Cingular phones will show it. Guys if you are going to say what phone you have, say what service too because that can matter...

Yes it does, I have that phone. It doesn't play the ringtone assigned though.
