It took a little over a month to get mine. I then waited about another month before I put them on. Milk it as long as you can!!!

Yep! As long as you have the current body style and you dont get pulled over you should be fine!

Even if you do get pulled over it won't be a big deal.

make sure you actually have the fasttrack transponder in your car tho. whenever u go thru the scanner just sit on the transponder so it doesn't register. my friend used to do this on the 241 toll roads and he got pulled over twice but just showed the cop the transponder and he was good to go.

i don't plan to have a plate on my IS for at least another year. mines an '07.

I didn't have a plate on the car i had b4 my IS350,
from day one until i sold it.
it was an '04. (3 years plateless)
I think you will be fine as long u don't have any routine or habits to get you pulled over often.

okay so when you get a car you guys have no plates? no even a temp plate till the new ones come in?? in IL we get the temp plates and i just moved to an area where they are strick about having both plates on. i just tinted the windows so i mounted the front plate after 7 months as the tint was more important then the plate for me.

You can't sit on a FasTrak transponder. It'll still register. You need to put it in the mylar bag for it not to read. I use that when I'm going through the carpool lane with people in the car so I don't get charged.

I think the law is 6 months from purchase. I'd put them on if you tend to park in public places a lot, as there seems to be an increased wave of attacks on new Lexus's lately. Putting on the plate in conjunction with your front wheel brake dust well make the car look properly worn...

What a bunch of cheap bastards. You drive a Lexus so everybody will think you are cool, but then cheat the man because you can. You may think it is cool but it justs look like a bunch of guys who are too cheap to play fair. Ghetto.
