Default Gas Cap Door...
i have a question for anybody out there, its regarding the IS gas lid/door, when you guys pop it open , how does the door swing? does it barely swing open real soft and the door is barely opened, or does it swing real loose and it seems no real control or resistance?

if i recall correctly, the first way you said (not the last way) is the way the gas cap door swings.

i experience both.....most of time it opens softly but sometimes it just opens with a lot of force

damn thats what i thought i swung the door open today for gas, and opened all the way open and noticed my door swing real loose now....

see maybe im trippin because i thought when i first bought mine that it was pretty cheap to have the door swing like this, how about after you have it open, does your door open all the way to the left or does it stop right before you open it all the way,,,

wow thats amazing how some are soft some are forceful, im just going to go to lexus tomorrow and see a showrooom IS and see how it goes....

mine pops softly, however i think if you bend a little piece by the hing it will aggressivly open

Barely opens on mine.

That's good when you're in a tight space at the gas station .
