this forum needs a dedicated subforum for people to post pictures. i know there is a modification thread, but having a subforum is much much easier to navigate and also it stops clutter in the main forum. all the other auto forums have these dedicated subforums, why cant we have one?

 

IMO I like thread that have Text and Pictures! One picture better than a thousand words right?

Haha, all ya'll were fooled. iSuxel is playing reverse psychology so ya'll can post more stock pics for his viewing pleasure.

 

I noticed most of the backlash iSuxeL is getting happens to be from people with stock cars. Personally, I just don't look at threads with stock pics anymore. It amazes me how some threads with stock car pics can manage to reach 3-4 pages in responses.

Stock or not, they are nice cars, but I have to agree, I see enough stock IS 250's on the road, and could go to Lexus.com and see more stock IS's if I wanted. Now a stock LS460L, or a stock LS600hL, now thats some good eye candy. Those cars make me want to just go crazy.....BEAUTIFUL CARS.

 

Not a lot of people are proud of their stock cars. They're sometimes horrified by it. They have to soup it up just to make it pretty.

However, our cars are beautiful, stock or otherwise. Can't we be a little proud of that?

 

No one is forcing you to read the forums. Leave if you don't like it or don't open the threads that say "Just got my car (PICS)". One more thing...

 

Well, if it is the "dumbest" forum ever why are you posting still? Honestly, its not like these new car threads are disguised. The thread title always says "Just got my car" What do you think is in this thread? Little bunnies and sunshine?

Good idea! So good that I already did it the same day I created this 2nd gen IS forum.

My thoughts... I like to see new members posting "Welcome me to CL" threads and seeing their cars, stock or otherwise. If I'm not in the mood to read them, I simply don't and suggest the original poster do the same thing; they're pretty easy to screen out and avoid. People should be allowed to be proud of their new ride and supported and welcomed.

The new members DO have other alternatives to creating their own thread, and several hundreds have availed themselves of the stickies at the top of the forum to annouce themselves.
