when new members make their first post saying they just bought such and such car they are always encouraged by the CLers to post pics of their ride. That's how things work. If you don't like it either a)dont view the pics or b)leave!

And another thing... the reason people post stock photos is because people can capture different views of the car in different ways. Some people have better skills with taking pictures, some people have access to interesting backgrounds, etc, etc, etc. The variables are endless to support the posting of stock photos. But really, as I said before, it comes down to people getting excited about their new car and wanting to show us. Good for them, and good for us... it's what keeps this place a community and not a boring one or two thread photoshoot.

everyone is proud of what they have especially when it comes to cars, could be anything from an old civic to a DB9. just let people post their pics you don't have to look at the posts :P

It's not only the car but combination of the car and its surroundings!! It is pretty amazing looking our IS in different parts of the world with scenarios like the dessert in Dubai, El Alamo, Texas, the beach in Hawaii, tropical forest in South America, in heavy snow in Canada, in the city with modern and old world architecture, etc.
