Default Need Help!

Well my chrome rims have started to pit, so i'm in need of x-type rims for the IS if anyone knows where i can get some, for a better price than 750 a rim, PLEASE let me know!!

yeah, i thought about it, but i really like the x-types, is there anything that looks like them from the aftermarket guys?

these are the rims that are on my car. ASA ST3 19", but they make them in 18" too. Tirerack.com is having a blow out sale on this rim model. THey have them in chrome or alloy.

basically one of the layers of the chroming starts to rust and the chrome peels off the rim, it happens to all chromes after a long time, since mine are 9 years old (the rims) it was bound to happen.

Wow, after 9 years I wont even have the car anymore, so I wont care, but man I hope my rims dont start that? So then chrome rim polish is a must huh?

Definately, but i'm also in chicago so the weather gets to them really bad. The OEM chromes should last for about 7~10 years regardless

Alright, so whats everyones opinion on the best chrome polish to use? I have always been a fan of meguiars products, but do they even make a chrome polish?

I use Mother's Chrome Polish.

I use it for my car and motorcycle...

Yeah, well i just wanna eliminate the problem, get the 18 inch X-Type rims and be done with it, btw does anyone have pics of their IS with those rims? cuz i've been trying to look for them and haven't found any
