Thoughts on a used 06 IS350?
I found a used 06 IS350, Red with Black interior, 10,000 miles. Woman leased it (according to my Autocheck report), and then traded it in on a new Acura TL (from what the salesman, who i know enough to trust, told me). Seems to have the sport package (has the metal pedals), nav/Levinson, mem seats with power tilt/telescopic steering column, has clear bra guards on it already, etc. Pretty well loaded. Listing around $37,000.
I currently have an 07 Infiniti G35X, but have since bought an suv, so I don't need the AWD on the sedan anymore, and I've always preferred Toyota/Lexus products, but at new-to-new prices, the IS350 was a lot more money. Especially in Seattle, we only have like 2-3 dealers. But this one, with only 10,000 miles on it, looked like it was in great shape.
Anything to look for in low vin IS350's? I've seen a couple TSB's listed here.

You could do a search to find all the posts mentioning "TSB" (or "TSIB"). What else could we tell you? There are no TSBs that should concern you enough to prevent a purchase of an '06, in my opinion, unless it is the one about the small oil leak, which was just posted in the past week, or so.
I drive a used '06, myself. (But, I'm the only one who "used" it, so far.)

check on e-bay, carsdirect.com and autotrader for some good comp prices. one month ago i got my 2006 IS350 with NAVI & premium package for $32K with 10K miles. The car had been sitting on a honda lot for three months and the dealer was very anxious to get it sold.

yeah i wouldn't pay 37... was looking to get closer to 33-34 range. 32 would be great, but i don't think the seattle market would go down to that.
carfax and autocheck come up clean, but they come up clean on a lot of cars that aren't
thanks everyone, we'll see what happens

That's for sure, my last car was a 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T, I bought it new and after 10 months the car was hit in the front end by another driver, the total damage was $13,000 and took 3 months to fix...the repair was spot on perfect and 2 different inspectors with no vested interest in the car could find no faults with the repair, the car honestly felt better than new, I sold that car before I bought the IS (and yes I did disclose the facts to the seller) and to this day you can run carfax and auto check and they both come up clean.
No beating on the G, since I got a random deal on it anyways (short version of a long story.... Acura paid me back more than what I actually paid for a TL due to electrical problems, and I used that to buy the G.) So I ended up "paying" about $34 for the G, which listed around $39. I told the dealer to make it a 34-34 swap on the IS and I'd think about it.
