is there any way to have your lights come on when you unlock your car during the night time?? do i have to customize it to do that or what?

 

What car do you have? I have a 1995 ES300 and all mine does is beep (twice for unlock, once for lock), id like some flashing of lights or something to happen also....

 

ohh man i dont know how this forum works.. why cant i just have a post that just posts for the second generation IS.. i have a is250 and i hate it that my lights dont turn on when i unlock my car lol it would be nicer if it did! i know all kinds of cars that do it.. but why not the IS!

 

turn your door light on. It's labeled 'Door' next to the sunglass holder.

 

yups if you have scuff plates too they light up when you put it on door or else they wont light

 

i have a is350 and the lights go on when i unlock. the lights actually turn on when i walk up to the door. so does the puddle lights..=D

 

you should be more specific with your question. i think you are asking "when i get near my locked car and i press the remote to unlock the doors, is there any way to get the headlights to come on? At night, I would like to find my car in the dark parking lot from afar using the remote." the answer to this particular question is No.

nope...unless you find a way to wire it.

 

they do? how do you set that? my interior lights come on but not as im approaching.. it turns on when i open the door.
