Dashboard Gap
While browsing through used IS350s I found a dealer demo car for sale. It's an '06 with <3k miles.
The interior looks to be in great shape aside from a gap on the dashboard. It's just to the right of the start/stop button where the center console begins (see image below). It's a pretty large gap, especially considering it's clearly visible in pictures.
Do many IS' have this gap? While trivial, it's the only thing leaving me cold about the car.

That gap is kind of large. I did the Nav hack recently and the first time I put the unit back in, there is a equally large gap in the same place. I took the unit out again and carefully place it back. I adjust the tension for the bolts until I perfectly align the unit with the dash.
I also have an 06 and had the same gap. I just took it in yesterday for the 10K service and told the service writer about the gap. They made it tighter, but the gap is still wider on the drivers side than on the passenger. I wonder if it has something to do with the push button start?
At least I don't see the back lights at night for the radio and climate control through the crack anymore.
