Doesn’t it bother you that one of the four road tires may go flat via a slow leak some day and you’ll never know it until the under inflated tire blows causing a major accident?
For me, I check my pressure every 3-5 days. I dont know about other people.

Putting aside the premise that most people probably do not check their tires that often, even a 3 day check interval may not be enough.
In my own case about a year ago, the TPMS light when on while driving home on the freeway one night. Never having seen that light before, I actually pulled over to check the tires but could see no problem. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my tire gauge with me. So I limped home at a much slower speed and checked my tires with a guage. Sure enough, the left rear was down to 25psi. I filled it up back to 32 and but it was down to 22 by morning. I carefully took the car to a tire shop where the found a nail and fixed it.
Three days? Without being alerted, that tire could have gone dangerously low and overheated in about an hour at freeway speeds. I’ll never own a car without a functioning TPMS again.
