if you painted your grille
how long ago did you have it done? is the paint holding up? if it's not chipping and still looks great, what kind of paint job did you have done to it?
I'm interested in painting my grille, but a guy at the body shop said it probably wouldn't look very nice after about a month. I'd like to know how your grille's are holding up. thanks pictures would be great too

if done right , it should last like if you paint a spoiler . The reason I say that is when I painted my chome lincoln navigator grill black it look like it was factory and held up really good too. just go to a body shop that does alot of custom jobs dont try to do it yourself.

I'm going to attempt to smoke mine out with Rvinyl overlay. I've tried with the aerotect stuff and it's way too thick to stretch and wont hold in place. Rvinyls overlay is thinner and sticks better to the grill. This should not only look good, but protect the grill as well...

I had mine painted by a body shop. They sanded it, preped it with some crap (he showed, me but I can't remember), and painted and cleared it.
The only part that jacked up is where I had to screw it down when I installed it. Other than that, the thing looks nice. Much better than the home-spray-paint jobs I've seen.
