I Am Ordering Some Aftermarket Chrome Rims Which Are Size 19x7.5 And 40 Offset W/ 225/35/19 Tires. I Had Some 19x8.5's and 35 offset with 235/35/19 Tires And It Rubbed Really Bad In The Back. Will I Have This Same Problem With These New Rims? Which Is A Better Offset 35 Or 40?

OK, I'll take a shot and ask the obvious. Did you ask the company that you're ordering the wheels/tires from if they will fit without rubbing?
davyd32 - i used to have a 2003 IS300 with 19's. I had 235/35R19 with 19x8 +48. It rubbed a tiny bit in the front against the inner wheel well when I'm reversing and the wheels are turned. I was lowered 1.5" all around.
You should probably get smaller tires to avoid rubbing (if you are or will lower your car):
1) 225/35R19 with 19x7.5 +42 to +45
2) 225/35R19 with 19x8.0 +45 to +48
8.5" rim will not fit the IS300 front with any offset without fender mods. It will either rub the fender (offset too low) or rub the suspension (offset too high)
But to be honest, you should not buy wheels from a store that doesn't know which wheels fits your car or not...
Thanks for all the advice. The tire shop blamed it on the wheel manufacturing company saying that they said they would fit. Luckily they took them back and now i'm exchanging them for some different ones that should be a better fit. I definately won't be doing business with them anymore. I trusted them but i guess you learn from your mistakes.
