Whats the benefits of ceramic tint??

Things have changed since I got my last vehicle tinted which was 8 years ago.

All these different types of film make things confusing.

Better heat reduction, although it has a green hue to it which turned me away. That and the darkest % is usually 30

the heat reduction is awesome! my tint is 40% but it blocks out heat better than limo tint. plus i don't need to worry about the cops sweatin me cuz it's not overly dark. don't notice any green hue to the tint either.

And before anyone bashes the job or tint quailty all I know is I never had any peeling or discoloration problems with the old one at all.. Maybe there are different grades of actual film?? My family does get a hookup with the dude due to the number of cars he has done for us tho
Where do you get this done? I live in Arlington but work around Fort Worth.

I have got mine tinted for $180 and I love these guys.. they r good at it..

It has been frustrating now that I have taken the IS to them twice as I am seeing scratches are building up.. they have replaced the driver's side tint due to the scratch but now I have them in my passenger and rear passenger tint as well.. any of you guys are experiencing this.. I never had this prob when I had my ES tinted.. it was perfect..

Maybe it could be true that some internal parts are causing the scratch??? any ideas?? planning to bring back to them this weekend.. hmm maybe not cause I'll be in Vegas but next weekend..

Let me know if any of you have had this kinda prob and what did the installer recommend..

Another vote for California Tint in Rosemead, CA. They've done lots of 2nd Gen. IS's already so you don't have to worry about them charging you extra. Plus they are really cheap, only about $120 for all four sides and back. I do all my cars there.
