Look in the owners manual. It shows where the adjustment **** locations are, if you can't locate them already.

6 turns x 4 teeth each turn of screwdriver = 24 teeth!

What do you mean you "fixed your AFS light"?

Lightbulb Headlight Adjustment DIY Pics

OK, because I love you guys so much I went downstairs and took apart the engine covers and took pictures... Here we go...

Picture of the engine with all covers on:

Picture of the engine with all covers off:

Picture of the Driver's side headlight screw location:

Closeup of the Driver's side headlight screw:

Picture of the Passenger's side headlight screw location:

Closeup of the Passenger's side headlight screw:

Another closeup of the Passenger's side headlight screw with the arrow showing how the screwdriver should be inserted and the adjustment screw with a circle around it:

And of course, all of this is on my website as well...

Hope this helps!

Do you REALLY need to take ALL the covers off or can you just do it by taking off 2 or something?!?

did the adjustment the other night. i took the liberty of marking the center point with a sharpie b4 i even made any adjustments so that way i know how many turn i make or where the adjustemnt dial is at. i didnt have to make too much of an adj tho, maybe about 1 full turn for the pass side and about a half on the drivers side.

No, I think you can just take the bottom cover off... But it might be SLIGHTLY easier to get at if you remove both of the sides ones too... I always just remove all the covers whenever I do any sort of engine work...

Remember, the passenger side cover only has one clip and one screw... and the driver's side has 1 screw and I think 3 or 4 clips, so they are much quicker to remove than the bottom one...

its the same anyway you stand but turning the SCREWDRIVER counterclockwise makes the light go up. screwdriver clockwise = light aim goes down
