I have been reading the Sirius threads for awhile and I have a question for the experts. What is the difference / advantages of the Lexus Sirius tuner and the VAIS Tech SoundLinQ (Model SLS) which utilizes the (SIR-ECL1), Panasonic (SIR-PAN1), JVC (SIR-JVC1) etc. tuners?

I know the Lexus tuners have had many issues but the threads have gotten so out of hand it's hard to keep track of all the info out there.

Is it a safer bet to go with the VAIS Tech unot and have another input also or the oem option. I wouldn't mind being able to add the dvd option into the mix at some point too.
