Question 2IS Q's

So i have a couple of friends who wanna buy a couple of 300's , anyway they have two q's :

1- What are the issues with the 2IS , anything from creaks to tranny trouble ?

2- Are there any changes to be made on 08 models ?

Thanks in advance everyone

Some people are complaining about creaks and rattles. No major engine or transmission problems that I'm aware of (or at least any problems that weren't fixed for '07).

There is going to be a 425ish bhp version in '08, but I don't know if it'll be sold internationally.

AJ,

To confirm you are talking about international 2IS IS300s, not USDM correct?

Don't worry about the rattles. Chances are good that a car your friend purchases won't be affected. If it is, there are several applicable TSBs that his dealer will follow to eliminate them.
