Default Chrome OEM wheels crew..

I'm thinkin about chroming my OEM 18's, but I am hesistant because I dislike them on any stock isx50. If my car was stock, I definetly would not consider to do this, but with my exhaust and maybe a little drop it should look decent in my opinion. Anyone got some pictures with chromes on a non stock isx50?

One member has Black Chrome, and that looks the best I think when you want to coat the OEM wheels.

Any pictures of his car? That sounds like it would be pretty sick.

If you dislike them without a drop, I'm not sure how lowering the car a couple of inches will change your mind. If you're looking for a reason NOT to chrome them, consider the weight you're going to add to each wheel.

Dropping it does make a difference, it adds to the overall appearance of the car and helps the wheels blend in more nicely, along with the big chrome tips of the SP2, in my opinion. And as far as the weight issue goes, that gives me something to think about..

Per wheel? That's unsprung weight, and not an insignificant gain - about 8 pounds per wheel?!? Even if you mean "less than a gallon of gas" total, that's still a 2 pound gain per wheel. That sucks.

dropped, with spacers to push them out a bit and it would look good.
