I remember reading a thread about how people complain about the space in the IS. I barely ride with people in my car now but my situation is this, I might pick up 5 people from the airport all at one time and i don't want to make two trips.

4 adults in the back seat 5'4-5'5 140lbs avg size... you think that might work?

i was able to put 8 peole in my acura legend coupe back in high school so i dont' see why you can't improvise.. haha

I fit 6 people once in a 1991 240sx coupe, I don't see why you can't fit more in the 2IS heheehe wont be comfortable though

all joking aside dont think 5 adults in an IS is possible.

 

Toured the Michigan wine country near me this weekend and had 5 in my IS. Three girls across the back, me, and the passenger. Everyone fit fine.

I had four people in my car (including myself) this weekend with no problems. But then I don't lean alllllllllll the way back when I drive. I just get paranoid with people in the car because of the sterling interior.

But 5 people in the IS? I don't think the hump due to RWD would be that comfy for the person riding in the center.
