I saw that 335i run last friday at Moroso. I was very impress because it look like the car ran a 13.3 effortless.

 

yea, he said it was pretty consistant.... i think the 335i could hit high 12's with a ecu upgrade and a little more boost...

he also has an E55 that run's deep in the 11's....

Hey Fikse... Do you know what kind of MODs does that E55 have? That's very good time on the 1/4 mile.

 

That is pretty darn impressive. Esp the 60' time under 2.0.

 

FYI had a guy in a 325i flip me off when I passed him this weekend and then hit the gas...so it was on...and he lost bigtime and he was not a happy camper...maybe he thought I had a 250?

Drag racing the Is is the topic

On another note does anyone know of any good drag tracks that run the 1/4 mile in the Tampa Florida area? Sunshine only runs the 1/8 mile.

 

This is the track Payam and I raced at. It is off I-75 in Bradenton. It is a 1/4 mile track.

This Thursday night, 11/16 they are open for anyone to come and race. It is $20 if I remember correctly. 6-11. Recommend getting there right when they open as by 7 it gets packed and you have to wait awhile. Between 6 and 7 you can get in a lot of runs.

 

thanks for the info! I will try to get down there as soon as possible but i am going to wait for my JoeZ intake to arrive before I head to the track.

 

I went there on a Saturday about a month ago and got 5 runs in in 3 hours. Looking at going again in Dec.

 

I'm interested in seeing times with an LMS exhaust...anyone have info available?

Please remember this car is also stripped a bit - check the notes. But it is a nice exhaust system! I like the HP gains it offers but then you have the noise issue....
