Default Fujita SR-2408 installation problems (2007 IS350)

Ok, the years covered says 2006, but I bought the intake anyway.

These are the problems I'm having now, which resulted in me re-installing the factory parts (hopefully correctly). I'm a noob, so maybe that's a problem, but anyway...

I could not remove the air box, grounding wire, and air inlet bolts on the car. I tried for over 30 min, but couldn't get them to budge. All the other bolts I tried seem to be able to be removed fairly easily.

I also lost a bolt from the t-bolt clamps for the straight hose. It's somewhere in my engine bay now... would this be a problem? I couldn't find it. I'm paranoid, so I'm worried about stuff getting jammed. Anyway, I would appreciate any help I could get. I already emailed Fujita, but if anyone is around Irvine or Carson (I work there), or within 25 miles of the vicinity of either cities that has installed a similar intake on their 2IS and is willing to assist me, it would be greatly appreciated (I'll drive over).

If anyone can recommend a shop that has experience with 2IS installations that be great too.

I could have easily installed the intake if the bolts would have come off properly... but they didn't >.<

all you have to do is pop those clips on the airbox frist then remove the intake pipe and detach the air sensor. Install the aftermarket intake pipe and put back the airbox and the air sensor... that were all I do when I install my JoeZ intake pipe...

T bolt being lost : If you lost it in that general area, you should be fine... but you want to get a new T bolt so you don't lose air.. your car will work but it won't be optimal

On the instruction, there is a toll free number. Call us and we will guide you through the install as well as give you a new nut for your t-bolt. Ask for Ryan or Brian (Brian first)

Hey thanks a lot!! I'm at work now, so I might have to call later in the evening. I already sent an email last night to you guys too though.

I know how to remove the bolts, but the things just won't come off. I guess it doesn't directly relate to the intake, more like a general problem (except for the lost bolt). Again, I know which ones to remove, and where they are, but no luck.

The air box, air inlet, and the grounding wire bolt seems: to be stuck, I'm a complete weakling, or I need one of those hydraulic power tool thingys.

Unless they've, for some reason, changed the way they were made/installed, i don't see how they could possibly not come off (other people installed them already). It seems like I don't actually have to take off the air inlet. But it doesn't fit well with the air box in, so that has to be removed. And I need to install a vibration mount, but again, I couldn't remove the bolt.

Thanks a lot guys, again!

Ok so I was saying, I was a complete noob... so apparently all I needed was an Impact Driver. Well I had no idea what an Impact Driver was before yesterday, but Newport Lexus kindly loosened the bolts for me in 30 seconds. I guess I thought those bolts should have been easy to remove, and didn't expect the need to have a powertool. Anyway I bought one from Home Depot just in case. Thanks again guys

Btw, I'm still missing a Lock nut. I couldn't find a matching replacement, so hopefully they will send me one, or tell me where I can buy it.

Also, the intake sounds sweeeeet I love it. Hopefully it's just as effective in the afternoon when it's 100F out =P (still don't know much about intakes)
