Key issues - please help

its worth to waste time at the dealership if they can fix it, and diagnose the problem.. what if its your car battery?? or... some wirering gone wrong?
i would take it to dealer.

Ok here's the update. I went out this morning with both keys and neither of them worked to open the door. Then I got in the car and I hit the brake and the light turned green on the ignition without me putting the fob close to it. So I turned off the ignition and got outside the car and tried both keys seperately and they both work fine now.....
Not sure what went wrong but it is back to normal now. Lets hope it doesn't occur again. Still have no clue what might have caused the issue in the first place. Thanks for all the suggestions.

This happens to me EVERY time i park at Biola University. odd... maybe radio frequencies interrupt the signal? but yeah, it only happens when i park there. This NEVER happened anywhere else.
Does anyone have an answer to this?

Unfortunately our cars key transmitors use a frequency that isnt very unique. If you park near a radio station or Cell Phone tower, your car many not respond to you. Ive been locked out of my car and needed to breakin through the trunk.

I've never had that problem, and I work maybe a 1/4 mile from an antenna that has an FM radio station, antennas from Verizon Wireless, Cingular and T-Mobile, and half a dozen other antennas for other communication services.
