Default Just Picked It Up

Hi guys,

I finally have picked up my IS350, first off I'm very very happy with it, everything looks and sounds great lol, man you know I haven't been able to figure out how to get that Lexus panel on the bottom of the door to light up?

Theres only one thing I found weird, which is the brake squeeked when I was pulling into my garage very slowly....

BTW, Can someone post that seatbelt beep fix?

Congradulations on your new car! That noise you hear from the brakes at low speed is normal and is nothing to worry about, and should go away with more use.

To get your side "Lexus" panels to light, the switch beside the moonroof controls needs to be set to "Door".

Here is another hint, they ship the car with the trunk light turned off. I cursed for a few days that the car didn't have a trunk light until I stuck my head inside the trunk... boy did *I* feel stupid, LOL!

Enjoy that car, they are a fun beast to drive.

I got some permanent wax thing from the dealership, basically you just wash and you'll never have to wax again(cost me like 600$), maintains that shine or something, and if it starts to dull they said to bring it back to the dealership and they'll do it for free?

Either way, I've been driving the car like crazy since I've got it, I mean they say to wait to break it in, but the car is just so powerful, its too tempting, I already raced an older vette and stang's dont even stand a chance lol the cars awsome

Congratulations on the car!

However, as a professional detailer, i wonder what are the things that the dealer put on your car claiming that you'll never ever need to wax it again......

Hi Kenji,

I'm not sure either, but the guy at the dealership actually told me to NOT wax my car and if the shine doesn't maintain that I should bring it back so they can re-apply this stuff for free of charge. He also said that no swirl marks should show even if I ran it through an autowash...it sounded awsome so I got it done.
