WHY is right. Why in god's name would you want to put smaller rims on your car? You might as well go up to the IS design team and spit in their face. This is a disgrace.

I would guess he is looking to put snow tires on those steel rims. Alberta is a bit of a 'snow' area, which folks in TX and FL wouldn't know about.

Lol, good point. We in Texas and Florida are fortunate enough to not have to deal with all that white stuff... what's it called again?

Such negative comments.

Maybe he has a set laying around and wants to use them for harsh winter months??

Why not?

I actually don't give a rat's pooper what other people think of my car, and wouldn't hesitate slap on a much lighter set of steelies to gain some improvement in performance.

You didn't mention which car you have.

The IS350 has larger brakes than the IS250. You aren't going to get ANY 16" wheel to fit on an IS350.

I'm not sure about the IS250.

hmm so back to answering his question... i doubt it would fit, its hard enough to find aftermarket wheels that'll fit over the calipers on the 350. but i could be wrong. do you have pics of the exact ones? and as for 16s on any 2IS... sounds interesting... i think people from other countries might have 16s... so maybe someone internationally will chime in...

He guys,
Yea Its called Snow, and Thats why Im looking for Rav4 Steelies. I have a 250 Sport package. I know some guys with 300's up here have used rav4 steelies. Just wondering if they would clear the calipers on a 250.

Tirerack sells 16" aluminum wheels that fit the 250, so I'd say the chances are probably good the Rav's will fit, assuming the bolt pattern is right.

Well the bolt pattern on the Rav4's are 5x114 so it should be good.

I'll be able to find out very soon and I'll let you guys know. I got the steelies on order and I will get my winter rubber mounted up a couple days after that.
