Default Stock Projector Bulbs

Perhaps I've missed it somewhere but is there any way to change the standard headlight (not HID) projector bulbs or are the projector and bulbs all one unit?

I conducted a search but didn't find anything other then for HIDs. Help

Thanks

yes, you can change them. the bulb number is H11. you have to remove the dust cap behind the headlight to be able to get it out.

Well............When I owned my 'benz' I added Philips Vision Plus bulbs which increased the light by 50%. That's my goal here as I find the stock lamps to be wanting. Any thoughts (other than putting in HIDs)? Thanks

heh... how about HID's?

seriosuly, just get HID's... those power vision bulbs wont last as long as the stock halogens.

I think the philips one will do the job and the stock halogens are philips anyway... go for the 4300k, I don't think there are 5000k for H11 as I last check the philips website...

Not true. At least in my experience. I put Philips Vision Plus H4s in the benz and they were still working four years later when I traded it in on the Lexus...

How difficult is it to remove the covers and actually get to the bulbs. Looks like the bulb is hidden in the wheel wells. Any trick to removing those little black snaps? OK.....I'll admit it. I busted one trying to reinstall it. Not sure what I did wrong. I suppose Lexus wants about 10 bucks for each one.

Thanks for the help....
