I finally had a chance to go to the track Saturday morning, 1st time in about 4 years. Went to the track in Bradenton FL which opened at 10am and spent a couple of hours there. The temp was 80 for the first run and climbed fast to 90. I did all my runs with the power button pushed, and let the car do the shifting. First 2 runs a had the rear tires set at 37psi the last 3 I had it set at 32psi.

The best part about the weekend was beating up on my bother in his EVO VIII. He wasn't able to break into the 13's. We ran head to head runs 2-5, he did get the hole shot every time but I pulled past him in the last 1/8 each run.

Hope you don't mind, I was going to post my own thread, but thought I might as well just add to yours. I was just at the Bradenton track on Thursday night, 6:00- 10:00. My first time in 9 yrs.....{kids;} I thought the weather was supposed to get cooler, but it was still 93 on the first few runs, and 89 on the last. My car has no mods, and has only 700 miles on the odo. Rears set at 32 psi, but I found it very hard to get any tire spin even if I tried. Lot of Highly mod cars were doing some serious burn outs all night

I'd like to go again if the weather ever cools down, possibly in Dec??? Maybe we can meet up. I drove down from Clearwater. How may miles do you have on you 350, and any mods?

 

I used to have an EVO VIII prior to the IS350 and for him not to beat the IS350 means his car must be totally stock and or a bad driver. Either way, good to see more IS350's out at the tracks and representing the IS community.

We'll have to do that, it was hot Sat. and just kept getting hotter. My brother was talking about coming back up in Nov. after he gets his exhaust and down pipe. I'll keep you posted.

All I did to my car is a K&N drop in, so yeah it's stock with 12,500 miles on it.

As for the EVO it's bone stock too, he just got it 3 weeks ago.
