Two Months old and already smashed
I feel your pain to having that, I got 2 of my cars messed up, one of them when I wasn't even near the car, and the other I got rear ended. My Lexus is okay, but the other 2 cars are completely going to be salvaged, I know how it feels, I hope you have better luck than I do right now on cars. I hope it's an easy fix.
It's just simple surface damage. A good body shop will have it looking like new again. If it's a difficult color to match, you could always push to have the entire car repainted (not sure if that'll do any good). But be sure to keep photos of the damage to prove that the entire car wasn't damaged. It should help when you go to sell it one day.
Also, there's no need to threaten the guy, either through physical harm, or legal action. Give him (or his trucking company) a chance to take care of the situation, [assuming that this is his fault]. And take it from there. Just keep your cool, and things are certain to work out better for you.
How old are you?

It more or less looks like cosmetic damage. So I'm pretty sure your car will feel the same when you get it back. Dealing with accidents and insurance companies can be a real PITA but I wish you the best of luck...
