well today my IS got hit while I was leaving school from the NOVA parking lot at approximately 12:30pm. While I was going down the road, a girl in a blue 03 honda accord pulls out from the side and clipped my back rim and minor bumper damage. Also my alignment now is a little off. The accord had damage to passenger front bumper. No one was hurt. Police filed a report gonna go get estimated tomorrow. Just thought I share. Heres some pics.

Sorry about the damage. I had the exact same thing happen to me in a mall parking lot a few years ago......The little teeny bopper biatch decided to lie about who was at fault, trying to blame me even though it was a very obvious side-swipe. Of course, once the insurance investigators from both of our companies got together, they said it was very obviously her fault.

I am still amazed at how dishonest people can be.

Anyway, props for getting the police report immediately.

Anyways, DLam, I'm feeling your pain. I have the exact same color IS, X Package wheels and all (except its a 350) and have suffered similar damage within the past week (not as bad..but still).

It could be much worse. At least you KNOW who hit you and you can get that persons insurance to fix your ride. I gotta fix mine outta my own pocket..

 

Yeah, but do you see that more and more of these 'accidents' are happening around schools??? Too much car + too little experience = accidents. That's why insurance is high for young people. I haven't seen any accidents reported that happened around a retirement village.

 

Haha.. that's because when you're retired, you're too old to drive! JK but yes I agree with you, most young people do not know how to drive. Same thing happened to me at school too, except mine was way worse.

 

omg u guys are making me paranoided i park my car down in the dorms garage and people cant drive down there....ughhh i might have to run down and check out my car damm IS HUNTING SEASON REOPENED
