Default Volk questions

I'm looking at buying some new wheels and found two different ones. One is the Volk GTS and the other is the Volk GTM. I'm trying to get the biggest lip possible but i have trouble finding the lip size\offset that would fit the IS350. I found one pic of the IS350 with the GTM but the lip doesn't look that deep. I went through the wheels part of this forums and saw that there was some volks (Volk GT7) that fit with a 36 offset but i'm trying to see the lip size difference between the volks so i have an idea of how big the lip is. Can someone help me on this.

Thanks.

I think that a couple of the guys here with the Volks are running a 2.5" lip in the front and back (check Varok's car, which is outfitted with Volk Winning wheels) for the most part. I think that lip size is good enough for the car. If you want to go staggered, the 2" lip in the front and 3" lip in the rear looks good as well but I don't know if you can get that with the Volks. Anyway, in my opinion, I think that you should stay away from trying to get a lip wider than 3" because I think it can look overdone and will hamper the look of the car more than what it will help it. My 2 cents....

I was looking at the volk web site and found the offsets. I am very confused about the different types of offsets. Offset A, Offset B, Offset C. Which one should i pick out of?

I'm confused too offset A, B, C??? what in the world is that?? what happened to the number offsets??

Don't quote me on this, but I think Varok (CL member) is running a 38 offset for the front and a 42 offset for the rear and it looks good You can also ask the company whom you're buying your wheels from as well and they should have a better idea. Usually they'll have "fitment guides" for the wheels that will tell them what offsets you need for your car.

Here you go...this link explains the different A,B and C offsets for the GTS: http://rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/cgi2...?modelName=GTS

The english version of the official japanese website (what a mouthful!) is: http://rayswheels.co.jp/indexe.html
