Runs on premium fuel and uses non-rotate-able, low mileage summer tires, that create too much road noise.

Posts like this. They serve no real purpose except allow a place for people to vent. Other groups read these and think.... man that IS is a piece of crap. Personally I love my car and I'm not unsatisfied with anything.

I think they do serve a purpose. I wasn't asking people to provide a long list of gripes..simply ONE thing they don't like or would change. And who cares what other groups/forums think? I don't think there is a "perfect" car out there. All forums have gripes...trust me I've been on a lot of them. If you try to hide the gripes that members have about there cars then the guests that view this forum will conclude that the members are FOS and are hiding the truth. Everybody usually has one thing they do not like about their car... I am 99.99% sure I will buy one within 60 days.. I was merely looking for some personal opinions becuase I value those more than all the magazines and shows..however, I only value honest personal opinions.

I understand your point. Wait a few posts and we'll see this thread get out of hand - as they typically do.

Honestly, I can't think of anything I dont like about the IS250, maybe a bit more power, but I think what it has is sufficient enough, especially if u have a 350. Actually, when I crashed mine a few weeks ago, I said if it was totalled I would definately just buy the Lexus IS250 AWD over again.

I just answered a Lexus Product Quality Survey online. These were my comments:

What features do you like MOST about your new Lexus? Answer - Exterior body style

What features do you like LEAST about your new Lexus? Answer - Dashboard is fine but can be improved to look more luxurious.

What NEW features would you like to see offered on Lexus? Answer - wood steering wheel and wood shift ****

Also the manufacture monitors all the related sites to find out what real buyers/potential buyers are concerned about so they can improve the vehicle to help sell more cars. Why do you think the VDIM defeat switch was added?

Rear seat leg room that is a bit small. But again, it discouraged friends to ride in my car which is a good thing

I would think it was because of all the magazines whining about the "nanny factor".

I find it hard to believe that Toyota would make this change based on this web site and the complaints expressed by a few. It would be nice if they did though. We owners on this site are a very small percentage of owners out there (I think were more enthusiastic than most). If they really wanted to listen to us they'd give us the 6 speed manual tranny!
