More leather troubles...
I agree it is somthing that you need to get done through Lexus to make you feel better about your new car. In the mean time maybe you can search out a leather store/furniture manufacture and ask them what they think. If anything, it's just more information for you to battel Lexus if they give you any more grief in fixing your baby.
I feel that this has something to do with the seat heaters and coolers. Maybe there are some sort of ducts down there that are protruding against the seats?
I'm just wondering if this will eventually be a problem on everyone's car at some point or another. Not sure if its a mfg defect, but maybe more of a design flaw. I notice that its also doing it on the lower portion of the seat back.

Well my car is already in the shop for the speaker troubles I've been having, so just called my service advisor and told them to take a look at the seat tomorrow. They said their leather guy is in tomorrow, so he'll take a look at it. Will post up what they say...
Any update on this?
i'm going in tommorrow morning for the new seat. AFAIK, these leather troubles are a rare occurance, ...my guess is it is a defect. I know i'm the first to bring this to this (and another) dealer's attention. Hopefully, the problem does not come back, ...if it does, ...well, it must be my fat butt (j/k, only 175lbs), as i'm sure there are hundreds of ISx50's out there w/ seat heaters that are not having this problem. Anyway, I was gonna say, if we don't report the issues to Lexus, they won't know to correct it in the future.

yes, they did. Looks like it's as close to perfect as you could hope for. The new seat just needs to be adjusted to me again, ...may take a few days of gettin gused to. However, the seat heater doesn't feel near as hot the last one, ...but he ventilation is stronger. go figure.
Add me to the list. My drivers seat has the the indentions in the 2nd half of the seat bottom. I'm going to have the dealership look at it when I bring my car in for the cracked floor mat. My IS is an '07 with 6K on it. Our '06 AWD with 12K (tan int) doesnt have the indentions at all.
Anyone with grey or tan interior have this issue, or is it only on the darker colored interiors?
