Wow so many safe drivers out there! I got my first speeding ticket like 5 years ago going 95 on the freeway... after that I got one going 92 like 2 years ago... I've been a very attentive and good girl every since.... =) ITS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE AND SO NOT WORTH IT!
I got a ticket for doing 82 in a 70 zone last month. The cop said he caught me on radar doing 101 but I later slammed on my brakes but even then, I was still doing 82. He wrote the ticket for 82 since he knew that I couldn't go to traffic school if it had been 101. He also wrote on the ticket that he "verbally warned" me about doing 101.
This is my 2nd ticket during my 13 yrs of driving. My first one was 3 yrs ago for doing 60 in a 45 zone.
Right. Now the only thing that may tell you a cop is coming is when your air bags go off.
I mean, it isn't like I do anything stupid or agressive. I know the my capabilities and the capabilities of my car. If the road is clear and safe, I will go a few over. I rarely break 10+ over on the highway. Many of us on this site know deep down, agressive drivers are the cause of more accidents than minor speeding. I know they are out there so you always have to watch out for them.
Got my first ticket in the new car the 2nd day I owned it. Driving from Colorado to Houston (no sport/Nav/ML cars in the southern region) and got popped by a laser radar in Ft. Worth. The second was here in Houston and the cop got me for speeding, failure to signal lane change, and unapproved tinting (over $500). Got a ticket lawyer for that one...
Wow, some of you guys get a lot of tickets. I thought I was bad with 4 speeding tickets in my 19 years of driving. I have zero in the last 5 or 6 years though. Believe it or not I got 0 tickets when I was a teenager and the 4 was when I was in my 20s range. I got my full unrestricted license when I was 15.
I got pulled over for 110 in a 45.. However, I never get tickets because of my occupation.
This pisses me off. What's your occupation? Walmart security guard?!
Come to the Northeast and meet some of OUR "State-ies" , my friend. They would lock up their own mother, or even Mayor McCheese, for an idiotic move like that.
