The easy way out is to just fully isolate the signal with a relay but I'd like to do it right. Just gotta find the time to rework it.
With a PIC you could program the PIC to output the brake pattern on the two relays when it receives an input (button press or ignition on). What do you think?

A Programmable Interrupt Controller could be made to do the right sequence but I elected to use a divider chip. I put up a web page to track the progress. The thing finally works though. I have it installed.

I was just informed about Club Lexus rules that prohibit me from advertising this for sale on the BBS if it ever became available. In respect of their forum I will not post any further self advertising regarding this item.

Thanks.

Nothing that says you can't sell it to Carson or another authorized vendor first Haha.

I have been rather busy lately but I found time to post the design specs for the VSC defeat module I built some time back. In case there are some enterprising souls wanting to build themselves one, you may do so at your own risk. I will not be building them for sale and I hereby release the specs to public domain as author.

i second that. thank you for taking the time to do it. i'm sure someone will eventually come out with it. i'm in no way an electrical person, but it doesn't seem like it is too difficult or expensive to do. btw, how much would it cost for all the parts needed to make this? if it's not too much, i might think about doing this if i do the backup camera mod so i can get everything done at once.
