When you say VSC, do you just mean on or off?

I usually leave the VSC on all the time. There hasnt been too many times where I felt I needed to have the traction control off.

unless you are well aware of what you are doing, do not turn off vsc. with it off, when the car goes, it really goes...

The VSC circuit will reign the car in if you push the limits of the car too far. However, when it does this, the little light on the dash lights up/blinks. If you never see the VSC light coming on, you probably have never pushed the car hard enough to have the VSC step in.

I will say, when the VSC steps in, it's VERY noticable. It doesn't just keep you from giving the car more throttle, it REALLY backs the throttle down, almost dangerously.

Default Afs / vsc

I've got a couple of questions, first what is AFS? Yesterday I was driving along @ about 40mph all of the sudden the VSC kicks in applys the brakes
and wouldnt let me go past 40-43 mph it came on abruptly and stayed on
for about 4miles on and off then went away as suddenly as it came, by the way the AFS light has been on won't turn off and I just put on 19 inch wheels. this is on a 2007 SC430

Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS)

meaning the headlights will turn left and right when you are turning. it has nothing to do with vsc. is your car lowered?

the vsc, i have no idea, something is wrong. and since you put on wheels, you didn't damage the speed sensors right?
