Default Do the steering controls light up??

I just read on another forum that the controls on the steering wheel do not light up at night. Is this correct?? I find that very strange if so. Is it not difficult to figure out what your doing with so many controls. I suppose after a while it becomes second nature, but still. Plus I would think it would look much cooler if they did light up.

Thanks. I guess the person on the other board didn't know what he was talking about.

I never noticed if they light up or not, I was about to post that I thought they didn't? I know them all by feel alone.

The only cabin buttons that don't light up are the ones for the fuel door and trunk release.

there are a lot of things I wish that the Lexus website detailed on, but don't. I like how the steering wheel controls light up, making it easier to see at night.

I also like how the air vents have lights on them as well... now thats what I call attention to detail.... LOVE IT

Maybe I'm a "glass half empty" kind of guy on this issue, but I'd gladly trade the lights on the vents for lights on the trunk and fuel door releases. I guess the engineers responsible for the detail on those switches weren't paying attention.

hmmm... never noticed that they dont light up.... but i think the reasoning behind that is that you wouldn't be searching for those buttons while driving at night. get what I mean? ... I mean, you only push those buttons when the car is off, which the lights would be on... so makes sense to me that they dont light up.

you can't see the fuel and trunk buttons anyway, they are in a bad spot.
