IS350 Alignment Specs
I'm in CA for the next week getting the house moved. We now have a GA address, so I changed my location. Georgia is great, lots of great people, and even found a neighborhood similar to my neighborhood in CA - lots of diversity.
i just had my IS re-aligned as a precaution since i had a bent rim.... the dealer just told me it's good that i did, and that all 4 wheels were out of alignment. i asked him how this was possible since i only have 5000 miles---and i was hoping this would not happen all the time. he said the factory aligns the car aggessively for better handling, but the dealer aligned it to be for better tread wear. stange huh?
I just called the dealer to ask for the alignment specs. They told me they cant give them to me because my car is lowered. This next quote is straight from the dealer,
"it is worthless to realign a lowered 2IS because any changes you make will undo themselves and spring back to how they were before."
I could not believe my ears! So if they adjust the toe on all 4 wheels, its just gonna majically spring back to how it was before!
So i am gonna have my alignment shop call them and see if they will release the specs to them.
