New Find: Grocery hooks in the trunk...
Hey guys, some of you may know already, but I just found out there are hooks on the topside of the trunk to the left and right of the light. I'm not talking about the hooks that are close to the bumper for the cargo net. These hooks are smaller and close to the trunk hinges.
Also, anyone know what the other silver hooks are for on the floor of the trunk for? There are a total of 4. Is there a specific accessory that they are for?

i think those silver hooks on the floor are also used to properly secure the cargo net, i'm using two of them for that.
the other two silver hooks i am using to properly secure the lexus trunk organizer accessory.

Damn, I've had the car for 7 months now and didn't know they were back there. But I don't really spend much time in the trunk... Thanks for letting us know.

Hey Philip
I just went to check the 'hold-down' straps you were referring to. Do you mean the two straps located on the right side of the trunk on the bumper side (similar to the strap on the bucketed portion on the left side of the trunk)?

I never have luggage that need to be strapped down in the trunk for a long period of time. I'll have to try this at the EOS Convoy from SoCal to NorCal this year. Maybe...

Uhh...doesn't anyone read their manual? If I was spending $40K+ on a vehicle--which I did--I would spend a good long time reading about how it works...I'm still not done.
FYI, there are actually *4* grocery hooks...2 more on the inside (backseat wall) of the trunk as well...
