Default Silver or Crystal White?

I am about to order a 2006 IS 250 AWD fully loaded...Only thing I can't decide on is the color! Crystal White or the Tungsten Pearl (Silver)? Thanks in advance!

I've been on this forum for quite some time now and everyone here knows not only is Crystal White better looking, its also faster. The white actually dynos more horsepower than the Silver.

On a serious note (White is still better than Silver) do a search, there are a few post that deal with the color issue here. If not check the link on my sig for pics of my Crystal White IS.

Crystal White all the way
Tungsten is nice but kinda boring.

I had my salesman line up Tungsten, Crystal, SGM, and Black.
He washed them all and I noticed as they dried in the sun SGM and Black showed watermarks right away. Tungsten and Crystal hides the water marks way better.

For me that helped me decide as I don't always have time to hand dry my car.
If I had to pick a dark color it would definately be SGM

It's personal preference, but out of the two, I prefer white. There are too many silver cars on the road, most silver cars look boring to me . . .

Something about the silver on the GS and IS looks just right. In a few chats with people, they just really like the specific shade, while I'll admit that in the past few weeks, it has trumped black as my second choice in color if I couldn't do GFM. Silver > White

White. It's not as common as silver, and does not look like primer when dirty.

It's POLL TIME!!!

Did you really expect everyone to come to a consensus with this topic? Line them up next to each other and make the choice for yourself. Why ask a forum to decide what color car YOU are going to be driving around?

^^ couldn't agree more. If one doesn't have the fortitude to decide on a color themself, they should not be allowed to own a car like this.

Tungsten Pearl will be my choice. I am not partial to silver, because, I have had 3 white cars out of the 6 I have owned, including my current one. I have had no silver cars to date. I just happen to think that the Tungsten Pearl is the best color for this car, IMO.

I think the 2 nicest colors are silver and white on the IS. I have silver
but i prefer white slighty.. White is the best color to maintain..It is easy
to match if ever hit it also doesnt show swirls and keeps the car cooler while
in sunlight
