Default difference between 250/350 standard/optional features

im kinda confused after looking around and talking over email with some dealers.. they all seem to say something different

maybe someone can give me a list

besides the difference in engine.. what are the different features of 250 and 350

and also what differences in optional equipment.. i was told by the dealer the 250 has no option for HID no matter what package.. also the first drive by flipside said the 250awd had paddle shift? is that only 250? or on all 250 and 350

also what luxury features are missing from 250 that the 350 has ..

as far as i know, is250=is350 except for the different engines and the is350 is goverend by vdim while is250 has vsc. all packages are available for both 250 and 350. hid is also available for the 250 via the sport and lux packages and paddle shifters are standard on all auto trannies.

There is a vehicle comparison link at - http://www.lexus.com/models/is/index.html

You can add the IS350 and IS250 for comparison, does a pretty good job on the breakdown.

The brakes on the 350 are larger too. And I think, not too sure, but isn't the suspension a little different to? Something with the multi wishbone set up or something?

thanks..

i was thinking i can get the is250rwd auto without any package..

the only thing that i might miss is the perforated leather.. does the base 250 come with leather?? is the perforated just better leather??

all i really want is a base 250 with 18.. can anyone confirm the leather?

I believe it comes with leather, I havent seen an 2IS without it. The perforated leather just means that it has tiny holes in it so the heat or ventilated air can get through to either cool or warm your tush.
