Default Colgan Bra Pics

ok so I know it dosen't look great - so hold off on the ugly comments - I bought it so that when I take it on the upcoming 500 mile trip that it protects the front end. Thought you all might want to see some pics of it on....

Not a bad investment if you ask me, especially for a road trip. I have clear protective film on my car and a part of me wouldn't mind getting one of those for a long road trip either.

Yeah I figured it was worth the $120 - if not just for having to scrape off the 1000's of bug guts!

AAAACK...those things usually do more harm than good - long stretches at highway speed = wind pulling and tugging those things against your paint.

I don't think it looks that bad at all. Mind me asking how much it cost?

Just dont always leave it on because it gets to a point where it damages your paint. Try to at keast remove it twice every month and clean both the inside of the bra and your car.

Just a note...I only intend to put this on for the trip - after that it's back in the trunk until the next long trip (next year) I have no intentions on leaving this thing on all the time. As for paint scratches - I'll play the odds on a long trip - wind vs. rocks, mud, bugs etc...

Wow, I definitely would like to get one of these for long trips - where did you get it for $120?

It looks fine, and offers much better protection when you need it than the film. Last vacation, I had 1/2" rock hit the film, leaving the film and paint messed up. That Colgan bra would have prevented that from happening.
