thanks for the pix, i tried the same spots but couldn't reach it. Will trying again on the next road trip.

 

Don't mean to raise up this dead post, but I couldn't get the stupid hood to close after installing it.

Anybody else have this problem? Thinking about returning it.

 

the first few times it was a lil hard but after the top piece gets a lil loose..it will become easier....
the way i used to do it is place one hand directly above the latch ,that holds the hood down,....and help the hood down...it wont need too much force...
